Each year on the second Saturday in May, the National Association of Letter Carriers conducts the largest food drive in the world!

The SCV Food Pantry is the recipient of the food collected in the Santa Clarita Valley by our local letter carriers.  Historically, it was these donations that kept the Pantry doors open during the Summer months when donations are their lowest and the need is its highest of the year.  Children are out of school and can not participate in the breakfast and lunch programs at their schools -- causing an even greater burden on those already struggling to put food on their tables.

The SCV Food Pantry needs your help on Saturday, May 13, 2017 to unload the Post Office vehicles of food picked up by the local carrier on their route, transfer it to the Food Pantry trucks and then unload and place in the off-site storage facility until it can be sorted and distributed to our neighbors in need.

If you or your group can volunteer Saturday, May 13th between 2:00pm and 10:00pm, please contact the SCV Food Pantry at 661.255.9078 and help STAMP OUT HUNGER in the SCV.  All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
